Mastering 6/8 Time
- 6/8 time can be tricky. This two-book series is here to help!
- Both books each have 50 etudes with a teacher duet part.
- Book One: introduces the notation and basic rhythms, advancing to syncopations
- Book Two: introduces 16th notes (sextuplets) and touches on other meters (9/8, etc.)
- Each etude connects to online sound files at RhythmHelper.com with three sound files for each duet:
- (1) both parts equal volume
- (2) student part featured
- (3) teacher part featured.
- This book can be used either for sight-reading practice or as a lesson supplement. Different instruments can play together in an ensemble setting.
